2006 WINNERS
Eleven finalists battled it out in our prestigious fashion extravaganza at the annual Old Mutual Vukani! Fashion Awards 2006, held at the Menlyn Shopping Center on the 20th May 2006.
SANELISIWE MTSHALI from Durban won the Best Overall Collection category. She walked away with prize worth over R120 000 including R50 000 worth of business development support from Umsobomvu Youth Fund and a business order worth R40 000 arranged by Vukani Fashions.
PUMELELE DLAMINI won the Most Innovative Designer award. She walked away with prizes worth R58 000 including business development support from Umsobomvu Youth Fund worth R40 000.
MONICA HOWARD won the High Fashion category. She won prizes worth R46 000 including business development support worth R37 000 from Umsobomvu Youth Fund.
